We're still alive!!!

These interesting bilboards were up around town.  I looked up the website out of curiousity and it was interesting how they took the same verses in the New Testament and interpreted them quite differently than I had thought of them.  It made me so grateful to have a living prophet today who receives continuous revelation from God for us.  There are so many interpretations and ideas out there.

"Brothers and sisters, the exact time of the Second Coming is known only to the Father (see Matt. 24:36). There are, however, signs that scriptural prophecy relating to that tumultuous day is being fulfilled. Not that I really believed anything would happen, but we were grateful because we happened to be driving down the Las Vegas strip at the exact hour that that crazy man predicted the Second Coming would start.  (That would not have been a good place to be!)  Hearing the stories of the crazy things that happened as a result of this man's false teachings (people killing themselves and their children in fear of that day) just broke my heart.  I"m so grateful for the gospel and the knowledge and peace it brings!
