How friendship started-Dave bought a ukulele and shmoozed his way in for free uke lessons from Lisa
Official first date-late June; Dave and Lisa had turkey & guacamole sandwiches and then a uke jam session in the back of Lisa's truck (Lisa had no idea this was a date)
The very official start date of our dating-July 6 2009; Dave and Lisa got Pupusas off of Center St. (The pupusaria has magical powers)
Date Engaged-January 31 2010; Dave wrote Lisa a song on the ukulele
Scheduled wedding day-May 1 2010; It's gonna be awesome (Our 300th day of dating btw; We don't count our relationship in months, we do it by days...Chris Cagle style!)
This is just a small history. We plan on putting up a full story compilation sometime in the future :)
awwwww....so cheezy and lovey-dovey!!! And the pupusas do have magical powers. That's where Tom took me on our first date. Or maybe they are just crazy cheap and you Roderick boys are el cheapo. Probably the second. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that Adam and I could introduce the deliciousness that is the Pupuseria. That's the only place we ever went out to eat. But definitely not on our first date.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm sure it was just a minor oversight, but you forgot the whole "visit Jill and Adam because they're awesome" trip. It was in September.
More like your mom introduced me to the pupusaria! I found another one to that gives free chips in salsa. It is at the intersection of freedom blvd and 300 south. Muy delisioso and less greasy :)
